#028 - [VIDEO/AUDIO]

[A gollem picks up on Tsuzuki, running and flying about in the training rooms. He's not training Finders right now. He has a glowing whip in his hand, thrashing at some interesting targets. Each target is a glowing ball of purple light. Some move slowly while others dart apart. When they are struck with the whip, the light goes out at a talisman falls to the ground in their place. He looks focused and serious. Once all of the slower ones are gone, the faster ones remain. As he snaps his whip at them, he growls.]

Why...?! Why am I still here?! Why can't I go back?!

[Coming to a halt, he cracks his whip about him. The whip grows in length, whirling about him like a ribbon of lavender light. Most of the targets are caught in the attack, even the gollem that goes flying as the feed dies.]

[[ooc: Tsuzuki has realized that people are disappearing, and Reever's accidental feed confirmed that. He's frustrated because he's been here so long, and things are going sour back home. He decided to train, like his friends have done in similar moments. He doesn't know that he was been recorded or that the gollem got smashed. Sorry about the gollem, Reever!]]

[From where the communicator fell, Ace can see Tsuzuki gaping ahead of him. He heard that voice clear as a bell ringing from a church tower. He thinks the feed is just audio, so he replies staring away from the camera. He sounds like he just might cry.]

Ace... I'd take you both with me in a heartbeat... Gods know I need your help back home...!

I can't always succeed, but I do at least try to keep my promises. [He's grinning, but the hat's ducked low over his eyes again.]

Me too... [He gasps as he grips the whip in his hand. He furrows his brow, fighting the urge to cry.] Do you think... Do you think that... back home... things are still moving forward...? Could they have... somehow... frozen...?

I'm trying, Ace...! I'm trying so hard...! If it weren't for my loss to Kurikara... I wouldn't be as scared... Hisoka... He just wants to be my equal... but he had to want Kurikara... Why do people long for power...? Why, Ace...?

Yup. It can be a good thing, worrying about others to keep them safe. But there's no sense driving yourself crazy with it. Worry about those you can keep safe here.
