Paws Prints

[A gollem finds Tsuzuki outside by Gatekeeper. He's sitting against the castle wall, staring at the sky. Addy and Kia are taking a nap in the snow, that is still on the ground; their tails feathers beautifully splayed out on the matching snow. The shinigami looks like he's concerned about something.]

How strange... It seems people went back to their worlds again. How many more will come, and how many more will leave us? What becomes of those that have been here as long as I have? Are we trapped? Is there something we have to do here?

[He scoops up some snow in his bare hand, letting it fall through his fingers like a sift. His purple eyes look sad.]

What are we here for, Enma-Daioh...?

[A gollem nearby picks up Tsuzuki, outside in the training grounds. Addy and Kia are with him. He has just finished a training session, seen by the Finder leaving. Tsuzuki is seen walking toward the clearing in the trees. The gollem moves in closer to pick up what he's up to.]

What do you think, guys? Is it just a coincidence that someone like that could be here? I hope it's not an omen that he's coming...

[Addy and Kia both perch on his shoulders, nestling him. He strokes their heads. He doesn't smile though. He looks concerned, but the gollem doesn't stay much longer. The feed dies.]

To the spirits that walk this world tonight... I pray thee find rest and peace before returning from whence thee came...

[There is a pause.]

I hope there is peace to be found for them... Guess I'd better get ready for the party now, huh, girls? No, you are not leaving this room. I'm even putting up a barrier on my door to keep you in here, Addy!

[The feed dies.]

[[ooc: Today is also the Day of the Dead, so Tsuzuki is praying for their spirits to pass through this world without trouble tonight. If you smell smoke coming from his room, it's the candles. Don't panic! ... unless you want to... Happy Halloween~!!!]]

[A gollem picks up on Tsuzuki, running and flying about in the training rooms. He's not training Finders right now. He has a glowing whip in his hand, thrashing at some interesting targets. Each target is a glowing ball of purple light. Some move slowly while others dart apart. When they are struck with the whip, the light goes out at a talisman falls to the ground in their place. He looks focused and serious. Once all of the slower ones are gone, the faster ones remain. As he snaps his whip at them, he growls.]

Why...?! Why am I still here?! Why can't I go back?!

[Coming to a halt, he cracks his whip about him. The whip grows in length, whirling about him like a ribbon of lavender light. Most of the targets are caught in the attack, even the gollem that goes flying as the feed dies.]

[[ooc: Tsuzuki has realized that people are disappearing, and Reever's accidental feed confirmed that. He's frustrated because he's been here so long, and things are going sour back home. He decided to train, like his friends have done in similar moments. He doesn't know that he was been recorded or that the gollem got smashed. Sorry about the gollem, Reever!]]

When he slept, a... jötunn... son and a... jötunn daughter grew from his armpits...[Pause.] ... and his two feet procreated and gave birth to a son, a monster with six heads. Búri... When the giant Ymir subsequently was slain by Odin, Vili and... Vé... the grandsons of Búri, his blood, i.e. water, deluged Niflheim and killed all of the jötnar, apart from one known as... Bergelmir... and his spouse, who then repopulated their kind...

[A longer pause is heard along with the sound of a chewing in the background.]

Japanese mythology will never be the same to me when I get home...

[ooc: Tsuzuki is researching jötunn for their mission. He accidentally hit the audio button on his communicator when he was reading a book and eating lunch. I'm not sure when it takes place, but I do know they are in Norway. Poke to mission mates! What are we doing? /cries/ Everything above can be found at the wikipedia web site: Jötunn.]

[Tsuzuki is in the cafeteria. He's slumped over a table, arms dangling before him. He's trembling a bit. Something has obviously happened. Jerry appears in the feed, carrying a tray of pie. Yes, a whole pie with a bowl of vanilla ice cream is on the tray. Patting the shinigami on the back, the cook nods his head, sympathetically.]

Thank you...

[He sounds like he wants to cry as he sits up to take the tray. Jerry nods again, returning to the kitchen. Grabbing the fork, Tsuzuki stabs at the pie, eating in chunks. He starts talking to himself, mouth full.]

I am not an emotional eater! I'm just worried! They've never done this before, so I have a right to be upset! I haven't felt anything bad, so they're alright... right?!

[He notices the gollem filming on the opposite side of the table. The feed shakes as it trembles at his displeased face. He grabs the gollem in a flash, pulling it up to his face.]

Addy! Kia! Come home! Please! You can't go scaring me like this! Do as Master says! If anyone has seen them, please bring them to room one on the men's floor! Thank you!

[He releasing the gollem to go back to eating his pie. The feed fades slowly as he whimpers.]

[ooc: Yes, Addy and Kia have vanished! It's doubtful that any one will find them. They're trapped somewhere on Floor 13. They'll be back next week though... in one form or another... By the way, I'm job hunting, so just like last week, I'll be scarce. I miss you guys, and welcome new people. I promise to tag everyone that pokes my entries! /kowtow/]

Hey, everyone! This is Tsuzuki! Just wanted to let you guys know that Duo, Addy, Kia and I are finally back, safe and sound. Mr. Krory had some other business to take care of, so we headed back on our own. We're all fine.

Shuuichi? I didn't see you or your roommate in your room, so I still have you souvenir in my room. Ace? I got you and Smoker some rum from the Netherlands. I have it in my room for you to come get it whenever either of you want it. Chief? Um... I'm used to getting my Chief back home a souvenir after each assignment, but I wasn't sure what to get you, since you didn't demand, I mean, ask for anything. I ended up getting you and Mr. Reever hand-carved, wooden tulips. I'll bring them by your offices later. I hope you like them.

Sounds like a lot happened while I was gone. I can't wait to catch up with everyone!

[ooc: Sorry Tsuzuki hasn't been as nosy and active as usual. I was struggling with him, and I hate taking hiatuses. Muse and mun are doing fine now though, so he's back! I won't be backdating people's entries though cause that just wouldn't make any sense, now would it? XP By the way, NO ONE SAW DUO AND TSUZUKI COME IT. /hint hint/]

[A video feed picks up, viewing the floor of one of the men's rooms. The communicator must have fallen and turned on by accident, for the feed is shaky at first. One of the birds, Kia from the enegant landing, flies down to check the device. Lifting a wing to its head, the bird shakes its head. Addy, seen flapping madly to the floor, soon joins the camera view before flying back off screen. Suddenly, a pair of furry paws grabs the communicator from the floor, changing the view. We now see big, tearing, purple eyes staring at the camera. It is Tsuzuki... pint-sized. There are furry ears sticking out of the sides of his head where ears should be. His hands are paws, seen franticly trying to hit the audio button.]
 
Ace?! Shuuichi?! Smoker?! Somebody?! Help!?! I'm a doggy!?!?
 
[The feed times out on the puppy boy's crying.]
 
[ooc: Tsuzuki is an adorable puppy boy, without magic ability. I'm going to enjoy this... I'll be using the account plum_pup for replying. Thank you Andy for the picture references, by the way!]

[A gollem picks up a feed in the remains of the harpies nest. A few Finders are trying to finish clearing the rubble. Since the floor is damaged so severely, not many people are allowed up at a time. One Finder picks up something from the nest. He holds up an origami bird, staring at it. He shows it to one of the others.]

How'd this thing get up here?

[The others look at the spot, finding a second folded, paper bird. They shake their heads in puzzlement. The first Finder takes them both in his hands.]

I'm taking these to the Chief.

[The others agree, nodding, and the feed ends.]

[ooc: Tsuzuki's birds have returned to their original forms. Whatever could have caused this? And just where is Tsuzuki, by the way? Going on a long shot here guys. Tsuzuki has gone missing...]
