Back in my country, we have a special day on the second Sunday of May. It's called Mother's Day, a day to thank and honor the mothers and mother figures in our lives. I thought I would send a thank you all the mother's here in the Order, whether your children are here or not.

You think so? It was originally celebrated on the birthday of Empress Koujun, the mother of the emperor! Now, we celebrate it on the second Sunday in May!

I wish we'd had it when I was a boy! I never knew my mother, but Luka raised me the best she could. I would have showered Luka with thanks all day long!

I think it was chosen by the Woman's Union or something. They started the day after all. I guess they have the power to change the date.

Grandfather's Day? We have Keiro no Hi. That when we show respect to our elders. It's on September 15th. It's a time when we spend time with our grandparents and our elders to honor them.
