[Tsuzuki is seen putting his communicator on his desk in his room. His camera angle only shows him, not the desk or anything on it. He appears to have been interrupted from something which he goes back to doing quickly.

[There is no sound, so you just see him staring at something seriously. Finally, he opens his mouth and speaks something. Since it's inaudible, only someone that can read lips in Japanese could possibly have a clue what he said. A soft, purple glow is seen from the desk. He smiles at the event. When it goes down, he reaches for his communicator, pressing the microphone button.]

Ace! Could you meet me in the training rooms? Eh? When did I turn on the camera...?

[He smacks his forehead as he realizes he'd been recorded the whole time. He cuts the feed.]

[ooc: Oo! Tsuzuki is doing weird things in his room! He dropped his device and pushed the button on accident. I sense some curious questions on the near future...]

"Glad we're on the same page. Want to work on those training methods?" He grinned up at the pirate. Now that the serious stuff was over, they could go back to being good ol' friends.

"Sure," Ace grinned easily and cracked his knuckles. "What kind of things does ofuda cover? Like I said, I think we should practice dodging as much as possible."

"Well," Tsuzuki crossed his arms as he thought over the details, "I call on spirits, so it's a summoning type of magic. Since I don't sense Gensoukai, you would be my only shikigami here. That leaves me with the elemental spirits and my own spirit to work with. I can call five types of element spirits: earth, wind, fire, water, and thunder. I also can use my spirit to create spells, like barriers, seals, and a few other spirit spells. Does that explain enough, or do I need to be more specific?"

"Maybe a little more explanation on the elemental spirits," Ace prodded. "How do they work?"

"Hm! Okay," he said, pulling out a talisman. "This allows me to call upon spirits. When I chant, spirits are drawn to my spirit, and they use this medium to bind themselves together. I can use their power as my own. Let me show you... Spirits of wind, heed my plea and come to me."

A breeze began to spiral around the talisman as it started to glow.

"I see," Ace watched carefully. "How strong can it get?" Earth, fire, air, water, all useful in their own right, but not in tiny quantities. Even tiny bits of water weren't much against his fire.

Tsuzuki rose an eyebrow. He had thought it would be safe to just summon wind. Glancing around the room, the pillars appeared strong enough to handle a strong gust. He nodded to himself, before chanting the second half of the incantation.

"Oh deities of the sky and air, lend me thy power and free my care." The wind picked up, sending Tsuzuki's trench coat straight up. He held the talisman downward, but even that didn't change the strength of the winds. He was giving it everything he had, making the gusts fill the room itself as if they were in monstrous typhoon. "This strong enough for you!" He called over the wind with a smile as he grips onto a pillar. He didn't want to fly away...

"Whoa!" Ace gripped the pillar and laughed, "Okay, okay! Call it off!" He beamed, "Okay, we should be able to train them to at least dodge attacks from akuma well. I have no idea how akuma fight, but they seem to have some sort of magical abilities and I guess we can cover that. We'll just make sure we have a lot of safe room."

Dropping the talisman, the paper burned away in a white flame. The winds died instantly, leaving Tsuzuki to stand normally again. He smiled back at Ace, realizing he'd gotten a satisfying result. He thought about the Akuma he'd been told of in this world. They sounded to be a mixture of spirits and mechanics. He wondered what it would be like to face one, but that would have to be a first-hand experience in the future.

"I agree with you there. We'll just have to give 'em hell! Ha ha!"

Ace laughed, "Should be kind of fun, right?" Actually, he was feeling better himself already. Not exactly what he'd expected for dying.

"It will be if we enjoy it," Tsuzuki said with a bright smile. He prayed that things would be looking up for the pirate soon. He just had to open up his heart once more and live.
