When I first learned about shikigami, I found out they were creatures from myths that had left the World of the Living because people were forgetting them. I knew what it was like to feel forgotten, so I read everything I could about the ancient myths. I wanted to learn who those beings were and what made them who they were. When I found out there was even more to learn in Gensoukai, I couldn't stop myself! All those amazing spirits with matching stories to tell, it was like a dream come true. When they accepted me as I was, I was the happiest I could ever remember. Before I realized what had happened, I had twelve shikigami, but they weren't my servants; they were my first friends.
