[The feed picks up on Addy and Kia standing on Tsuzuki's desk, staring at the camera. Kia leans forward to peck at the keypad as Addy gnaws an inch in its wing. Words flash across the bottom of the screen like subtitles.]

MASTER HAS MISPLACED HIS TRENCH COAT IF ANYONE HAS SEEN A BLACK TRENCH COAT AROUND THE CASTLE TOWER PLEASE BRING IT TO ROOM NUMBER ONE ON THE MENS FLOOR THANK YOU

[Addy tilts its head at Kia's message. Leaning forward, Addy adds a line.]

MASTER REALLY LIKES THAT COAT AND IT HAS MOST OF HIS TALISMANS IN IT SO IF YOU COULD BRING IT BACK SOON HE MIGHT STOP RUNNING AROUND LIKE A WHITE RABBIT HEH

[Kia stares at Addy a moment before cutting the feed.]

[ooc: Tsuzuki will be replying to comments, but he won't know about the announcement. He's been in the recreation room practicing his piano piece, but someone picked up his coat when he went for a snack.]

That's the funny thing about hope. It's like faith. You just have to hold onto it.

Hope powers the will to go beyond the possible. I've seen wills strengthen so much so that Fate itself was defied. It's the true strength given to humanity.

That wasn't what I asked. You can't defeat anything without the courage and will to face it. You said earlier that some people have things worth dying for. They don't always die.

Courage isn't going to do me a lot of good when I go back and have a sword above me.

Is it? You speak as if you have already folded. Don't give up. That's something someone asked me to do, but I didn't listen. I'm still learning from that, but I refuse to give in again. I won't accept defeat no matter how tired I become. Even if it comes down to the wire again...

If I had given up then I would have settled here...decided that things could wait and draw out my time here.

I won't have a choice. If I go back then it's going to be back there hanging over me whether I want it to or not.

Whether I can stop it is something that I don't know.
